I opened it only to inspect and take pictures.
I cannot find any information on the company or this product in general. I believe this was made in the 1970's or 1980's.
This is a whole house kit that mounts to the side of your furnace. The housing is black plastic with a really vintage looking teal colored metal lid. Matching color on side panel & on the humidistat plate.
Inside the housing is a drum (more on that in a moment) which is turned by a motor. A float valve allows water to enter when the water level drops a bit.
The only issue with this system is that the evaporative pad that goes around the drum has completely disintegrated due to age. I am currently looking for a pad which will work with this system. You would need a pad that is roughly 6" long and will fit around a 5" diameter drum.
