Vtg Electric Vapor All Vaporizer Humidifier

This lot contains a vintage Vapor All Baby All electric Vaporizer which I recently acquired at a local estate sale. The dimensions of this device are roughly 11" x 5" x 5", body is principally made of aluminum with a steel bottom plate and steel lock clip to hold the bottle in place. Water bottle is Dark Amber glass made by Duraglass, Bottle has the brand name and instructions for use painted on its outer surface, paint is partially rubbed away, the painted surface is about 80% intact. Steel lock clip has a spot of rust on the extreme top center. Electric cord is marked "Universal, Landers Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn  Made in USA" and is made with cloth covered rubber, consistent with the style of cordage used for electric appliances  from 1930's through the 1950's. Bottom plate is marked "Baby All, Greenwich, Ohio  Model E37." I have plugged this devise up with water in the bottle and it did heat up quite quickly and produced steam, I was very careful while doing this and only ran it for a few minutes, I do not recommend anyone using this very old vaporizer for a vaporizer, but instead using it as a vintage collectible antique for purposes of decor.  However it did work as it was intended to. Over-all this devise in in pretty nice, vintage condition. Z5
